Richard Boyer’s work is represented in galleries throughout the United States and Europe. His oil paintings use a traditional approach to still life and landscapes and are contrasted with a richer textural quality.  This inspired artist views each new painting as a learning experience, dealing with composition and texture, value and color. He feels that the creation of a painting is the real joy, finding which forms or edges can fade out or be brought into detail.
